Next Steps
Ø Member States are invited to provide comments on the draft text of the
UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science by the end of December 2020
Ø Other actors will also be able to provide comments by the end of December
2020. Their comments will be summarized for Member States information
Ø A revised draft will be sent to Member States at the end of March 2021
Ø Member States will meet in an special committee meeting in May 2021 to
negotiate the text of the Recommendation
Ø The final text will be presented to the 41 session of the General Conference
