What needs to be done? Five Measures to save the world:
1. Phase out all use of fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas)
– to stop climate change
2. Make agriculture and forestry sustainable
– to stop biodiversity loss
3. Reduce the population (free education, health, contraception)
– to limit the human footprint in the future
4. Make the richest pay the transition cost
– to make the transition politically feasible
5. Use new development models (copy China, Costa Rica, …)
– to eradicate poverty
